Current deletion process
- Email typosbro@proton.me with the subject “Delete my Arbee account”.
- Send the email from the Google or Apple email address you used for Arbee, or include that email address in the message.
- If you used Apple private relay, include your Arbee display name and any Apple relay email shown in your Apple ID settings.
- We may ask for extra verification before deleting data, especially if the request comes from a different email address.
What we delete or anonymize
- Arbee account profile, display name, language, and account status.
- Google or Apple provider identity links stored by Arbee.
- Verified email records stored by Arbee.
- Learning progress, review attempts, mastery state, roadmap state, and due review records.
- Classroom membership and assignment data tied to your learner account where deletion is allowed.
- Analytics events that can reasonably be linked to your account.
What may be retained
Some records may be retained or anonymized instead of deleted when required for legal, tax, payment, anti-fraud, security, dispute, backup, or abuse-prevention purposes. Retained records are limited to what is necessary.
Timeline
We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. Backup copies may take longer to expire, but they are not used for active product features after deletion is processed.
After deletion
- You will lose access to saved progress, review schedules, and any account-specific settings.
- You may create a new Arbee account later with Google or Apple, but old progress may not be recoverable.
- Deleting the mobile app from your device does not delete server-side account data; you must request deletion through this page.
